3 month follower growth

Mokkoji Shabu Shabu Bar is a local favorite, cult classic, go-to hot pot restaurant in Orange County. Their mission is to bring people together with the joy of good food. Mokkoji in Korean literally means “assembly meetIng, social gathering, or feast held for specific purpose.” As the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world, Mokkoji turned to social media to bring in more customers and establish brand presence.

I took over the account when Mokkoji had less than 100 followers. I created a strategy that would grow the restaurant…

In the first few months, I:

  • Created original, illustrated content that increased engagement

  • Curated giveaways to grow audience and engagement by over 500%

  • Curated user generated content to stay relevant during the pandemic

INVITING YOU TO YOUR NEXT GREAT MEAL

I designed Mokkoji Shabu Shabu Bar’s Instagram to be a comforting space for people to turn to when they want a hot, delicious meal. By kickstarting a giveaway campaign, it invited more followers and engagement. While illustrating original graphic content, I also utilized user-generated content to showcase real, authentic customers enjoying the food and ambience of the restaurant.
